Hillels Around Chicago is hosting the 7th Annual Midwest Russian Shabbaton and Taglit-Birthright Israel Alumni Retreat!!!

The Russian Shabbaton will be held
February 19-21, 2010
Hilton Chicago Indian Lakes Resort
250 W Schick Rd
Bloomingdale, IL 60108
Check in time: 2pm
Event starts: 6pm

The theme for this year's retreat will be, "Home Away From Home: Where do I belong?" Participants will learn about Israel, meet others with similar backgrounds and interests, celebrate Shabbat and gain a better understanding about our Jewish community.

Meet Russian-speaking students and young professionals from ALL OVER the USA.

The weekend will include:
- a beautiful Shabbat dinner on Friday night,
- great speaker from Israel - Neil Lazarus, discussions and inspirational group workshops,
- songs, guitars and more songs!

Early registration cost of the Shabbaton is only $85* (must be registered by Sunday, February 1st, 2009).

Late registration cost is $95* (Final Deadline is Sunday, February 7, 2009).

Spaces are limited. Priority is given to first-time participants. Apply early. Participants must be Russian-speaking Jewish students and young adults between the ages of 18-30 years old.

Hillels Around Chicago will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary on Saturday, March 13, 2010 @ 8 pm.
The event will be honoring our Hillel's Founders, Wendy Berger Shapiro and Daniel J. Wander for all they have done to help us reach this milestone in our history.
